An over tightened bolts or screws basically caused by the other factor, as you know water can creates stain on metal material include the faucet, stain can make the bolts become really hard to remove, using the proper tools may damage the bolts. So you must figure out the other way, you can try to add some penetrating oils, yes this oils is commonly used to remove over tight bolts, just add some on the bolts wait it for a minute, then hardly slam it, the shock will make the bolts moved, as the bolts moved you can now use the proper tools to release it, it’s not too hard right?
